Rocky Mountain

From Rocky Mountain, we source from three primary leather tanneries. They’re linked below if you’d like more information.

Badalassi Carlo Tannery in Tuscany, Italy. They are well known for their traditional methods of vegetable tanning with tree barks that go back 100’s of years. Badalassi Carlo is a member of the exclusive Pelle Vegetale Consortium certifying they tan leather using the strict traditional vegetal methods.

Tannery Haas in France. Hass Tannery has been making leather since 1842 and is well known for their luxury calfskin leathers.

Conceria Walpier in Tuscany, Italy. They are well known for their traditional methods of vegetable tanning with tree barks. Walpier is a member of the exclusive Pelle Vegetale Consortium that ensure leather is tanned using the traditional vegetal methods.

Wickett & Craig in Curwensville, PA. Founded in 1867, Wickett & Craig is a world premiere vegetable tannery. A labor-intensive method that requires skilled workers, veg-tanning is a natural, eco-friendly process that produces durable, exquisite leathers recognized for their depth of color and rich patina.
